Insurance
We do not accept insurance at this time. However, if you receive out-of-network (OON) benefits from your insurance coverage, I can offer a receipt or a "superbill" with relevant details for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier if applicable. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company about your OON benefits before our initial session.
Please check your coverage carefully by considering the following questions:
Do I have coverage for outpatient mental health services when I see an provider?
What percentage of my costs are covered?
Do I have a deductible?
How many therapy sessions are allowed?
If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits, the insurance company will require diagnosis and dates of service on this receipt or "superbill."
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate, which provides an upfront cost estimate for your medical care.
In accordance with this 2022 legislation, healthcare providers must offer patients without insurance, or those choosing not to use insurance, an estimated cost for medical services and items.
You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services or items, including associated expenses.
Providers will strive to deliver your Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day prior to your scheduled service. You can also request an estimate from your provider, or any provider you select, before committing to a service or procedure.
If you receive a bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you are entitled to dispute the charges. Discuss any discrepancies with your provider.
Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
For more details about your rights to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
